What driver board???

I want a flashlight with modest output that will run on 3-9v. It's just for a spare head,think SF KL1 sort of thing.
What driver board would do this? I'm thinking 1 watt Q2 Luxeon,300-400 ma.
Can anyone make a suggestion?

The only board that will drive a 1 watt luxeon from 3-9 volts is the wizard buck/boost convertor. It's less efficient than the Badboys and Downboys, but its the only one that can handle that input voltage range.
