Hi Im just a normal guy trying to buy a flashlight. Ive been looking around and decided to go to a forum for help. I need some advise on which one I should buy. I dont want to spend more than 20 $$$. I dont anything about flashlights except how to turn it on and how to change the batteries lol. If any of you can give me some recomendation on what flashlights you have bought (from ebay) and like using (and info about them) that will be greatly appreciated. The flashlight is going to be used for regular around the house stuff so I kinda want it to light up the place pretty well

Please tell me my optioon

Thank you sincerely

I think you would be best moving this question to the budget light section as the guys in there are really into the cheap DX/Ebay type lights, but a quick answer and for pure light for a limited budget you could do no worse than looking at the ITP A1-A2 or A3,all 3 are very good value for money and each takes a different cell so you can choose from C123-AA or AAA,all are pretty close to your budget perhaps a tad over but worth the extra couple of $.

Look at the market place as well, some real bargains there often,I snagged a nice minty Romisen light for £5 UK,cracking light from a very nice selling member, total bargain for me.

I think you will get better answers if you post this in the budget lights area of this forum with the subject of "can I get a nice light for $20". Make sure you tell what kind of batteries you want to use and what you want to use the light for and what size you are looking for at minimum. I don't think you should limit yourself to eBay only. I assume there are many places to get budget lights.

Members of my family have got some of the ITP lights mentioned earlier and are happy with them.
You can also go by your local Target and look at the Inova X1's, I think they run about $20 and use a single AA. If you can up your budget a little there would be lots more options.
Check out sites like Batteryjunction.com, Shinningbeam.com, 4sevens.com and Bugoutgearusa.com.
If you already have a light or 2, you can check on getting a LED upgrade for it.
Oh yeah.......:welcome:

Solarforce would fit your budget. The L2r uses AA batteries as well.

Welcome to CPF, carguy123edavid.

ebay is an unreliable (hit or miss) place to buy flashlights. You may get lucky and find a good deal there; however you are just as likely to get ripped off, especially if you aren't sure what you are looking for and don't know much about flashlights.

You will be much better advised to take advice from members here. There are some excellent budget lights available, and some reliable dealers who are represented here and in Dealers' Corner in CPFMarketPlace.

I'm moving your thread into the Budget Lights section here where you will see other threads about similar requirements to yours.

Edit: I would just add another word of advice - NEVER buy cells (batteries) on eBay.
