What is \"The Beast\" light that I\'ve seen on PK\'s?

What is "The Beast" light I've seen on PK's site? What are it's specs? Is it for sale? Where can it be purchased? Who makes it? It looks amazingly BRIGHT.

Beamshot (the Beast's beam is the brightest one hitting the ceiling)

It's a HID. I have an older Hellfire, which is the rechargeable version of "The Beast."

It's HUGE, and not by any means carryable.

That cave picture is the best beamshot image that I have ever seen!

Perhaps it would be the perfect subject for a new 'best flashlight image' thread?

Any details on the location etc?

And is it copyright?

I would like to know what cave that was taken in?
I took My MaxaBeam into one spent iron mine in Iron Mountian michigan. The cavren seemed to be about the same size.

I love the 'starlight trio' picture on Willie's page as well - although the Beast pic is awesome I prefer something with a little less red in the background.

I mailed Surefire about a month ago and asked about availability of their HID light (after playing with an LC100) and they said that it will eventually become available to the public, but no time has been set. Well, I guess it would be too expensive anyway...
