What is the Operating Temperature Range for LS Flashlight?

I have a modified Luxeon Star Brinkmann Legend. I have noticed lately it flickers during the first couple minutes when I try to use it in the morning. So just for fun I have placed it in the freezer for couple hours and than with a set of room temperature battery; the flashlight fails to turn on. As it gets warmer it starts flickering and than stays on.

I’m aware that batteries will not function properly below certain temperature. Does that apply to the LS flashlight?

sounds more like a flex problem. you are probably grounding out somewhere, if possible, check to make certain none of the positive wires are touching the body.

leds shouldn't be effected by cold.
