What kind of laser would it take to kill a cockroach or some other small pest?

I'm looking for a laser that could kill, or at least harm a cockroach. Any ideas?

I don't know a whole lot about this, but if there's something for sale that does this, that would be what I'm looking for.

I'm sorry, but that's a bad idea. You would need a very high power one to do that, unless you glued the bugger down and held on on it for several minutes. Even if you could get one powerful enough (we're talking mucho $$$$ for one), you'd probably hurt yourself with it sooner than the bug.
