What Make of Green LED ?

Near by my home is a store with an led sign. The sign uses some green leds clustered in the shape of a plant stem with leaves. What is curious and remarkable is this. From a short distance looking straight at the leds they are so bright they actually look white. This appearance is not diminished even in broad daylight.
What make of led are they ?

Hard to say what make they are. Typically, you can classify or quantify what you are seeing by the term "viewing angle". Some LED's exhitbit high intensity at narrow viewing angles (straight on), others have lower overall intensity, but can be viewed from 90 degress or more. It's usually
