What should my next light be?

Ok... so the bug caught me a few months back. (My wife thanks you guys for that by the way)

I have a humble collection going so far, and I am just wondering what you guys think my next purchase should be...

so far I have... G2 Nitrolon, 6p with RCR123a's and HO-9 lamp, Fenix T1 and Fenix E1 Nichia, 3d Mag with Led drop-in, Mini Mag with Led drop in and clicky tailcap, Target River Rock 1AA led (42 lumens) and a Dorcy 2xAA "tactical light" (45 lumens)

How much are you willing to spend?

You should get at least on high power light, like a hotwire mod or a HID light.

A novatac light(85P is a bargain), a LED thower(DBS V2), and a headlamp(Zebralight). Those should be your next purchases, in no particular order

Thanks for the replys guys! In my haste to post this topic before heading out to dinner I forgot to post that I also have 2 headlamps (coast and Petzl) and, I can't believe myself, but I forgot to list my EDC light... an Olight T10 Q5


I have been looking at the DBS V2 but i keep asking myself will it ever get used? I know it will be really cool. But i dont just want to get a shelf queen if you know what I mean...

Pull the trigger on the DBS, you will be glad you did :twothumbs I use mine all the time, I wouldn't be worried about that. My first thoughts when I got mine was how much smaller it is in person than by looking at pics. Everyone of us needs to own at least one "light saber" :naughty:

Get an Amondotech N30 HID. You have a bunch of bright EDC sized lights, but it's always good to have one large(er) HID for when you need to light up a whole bunch of stuff. The N30 is a bargain for what you get.

you need a small EDC thats bright. the fenix p2d-ce q5 would be perfect. its better than a novatac by a longshot IMHO.
