What size optics for DX Elly?

Hi everyone

I am going to try and mod a DX Elly with SSC or Cree and optics
what optics size fits in?
any other recomendations for this mod will be welcomed.

THanks, Meduza. IIRC,you did this mod. were you been able to add an O ring in front of the lens to make it more waterproof? BTW, Cree and optics are born for each other...
I'm about to order one of Elektrolumens new stuff,probabaly the Lusidus XR-2 as well as puting SSC-P4 into my Blaster 2P ( The 30mm optics works nice with it acording to wayne)

I also moded the Elly by just changing the Led to a 1 watt Led from Besthongkong. They have red, green, and blue plus white. The green Led I put in runs 5 hours on 1 AA 2650 Duracell rechargeable and is quite bright!. Even more power form a 1.5 volt...Make great give away's to friends, ect.

Lighthouse one, that's exactly what I was thinking. making some nice give aways with a touch for people I care for. I might convert some of them,that way.poor folks. the coloured leds is great idea. maybe I'll make few for myself.

How do you assemble the light with optics? Do you put the optics-holder in there as well?

I Have'nt done this mod yet, but from what Iv'e seen the optics just snaps on the emitter.for stars there is one with three legs that gets into the star's holes as well.
