Hey does anyone know anything about the part I have in the pictures below... It looks like some massive diode to me? I tried googling the letters on the thing but did not come up with anything.. It was out of some sort of custom power filtering system for a small company who makes cables for the super high end audio guys out there..

Well it looks like a Ricoh cough drop to me, oh wait whats that other thingy?
All the way to the left of the part number it looks like the schematic symbol for a diode. Hard to see because it sort of gets hidden in the shadow a bit.

yeah it looks like a zenor diode schematic symbol to me but I have know idea what it is rated for.... and yes that is a ricola cough drop.... I have a cold lol
