Ok so I have been eading a bunch amout some of the lights I am thinking about getting. Im tossed between the catapult, m2s, m1x, and tk 30. Think I can get some help clearing up some questions I have for each one?
Thrunite Catapult v2- I havnt done a ton of reading on this one and from what I have read no one really has anything bad to say about it which is good. lol its either LOVE MY CATAPULT or JUST GET A CATAPULT :thumbsup: Looks ok compared to the m2s (m2s is s3xy looking). Claims 1000 at emitter and 700 OTF, this correct? Also, it does not have the reduced brightness after XXX amount of time? Good throw and but not much of a spill right?
JETbeam M2S- This is one of the best looking lights I think. Claims 1000 lumens but is the emitter or OTF? I was reading a thread about some of the first gens had a faulty UI and kicked down in brightness after 3 min. Since then they have fixed the UI and extended the HIGH runtime to 10 min. Is this still true? Has a good throw and a bit more spill then the Cata which is all good to me. I think this would be the light of choice if it didnt kick down brightness after 10 min. What does the brightness kick down to? Is it no where near as bright? ( Is the reduced brightness even an issue to worry about? I dunno :thinking: )
Fenix TK 30- I was almost about the pull the trigger on this one about a week ago until I got on this flash light craze :twothumbs. Dont think I have read anything bad about this light either. No drain like the TK40 right? Says 630 lumens, this emitter or OTF? Is there going to be a substantial brightness difference between this one and the rest? for $140, is it a pretty good buy for hat you get? I know it might not throw as far but might have a little more spill then the m2s or cata and I think im ok with that. This is an option though.
JETbeam M1X- I was really close to getting this one too until I saw the Dark hole in some beam shots
, too bad cause its a s3xy light too. I dont know if they have fixed that with a newer model or not, anyone know? Says 700 lumens, Is this going to be just like the TK 30 or better up near the cata or m2s? A thread I read comparing the m2s and m1x I couldnt get a def anwser on what one was actually better. Seems like a good light though.
AS of right now These are the ones I am looking at. I also want to take into account build quality, UI problems or any hickups any of the lights may have. Thanks a ton!

On a side note, I found this surfing the forums and I think this would make a good little hand cannon..anyone agree? For only $130, sounds good
