whatever happened to the lumileds array?

I remember a while back lumileds released some kind of LED array. It just looked like a cluster of emitters arranged like a beehive. I remember one thread where a member created a large cylindrical heatsink and put it into a thor. Ringing bells anyone?

only cylinder I can recall is the old painless aspheric...but I don't think it has to do with thor
