What's the brightest production LED flashlight?

I doubt that will be the brightest since the Osram emitters are very inefficient compared to Cree's or P4's. I would guess that the brightest production LED flashlight will be made by Elektrolumens. He loves making multiple emitter lights that are INCREDIBLY bright. Their only downfall is that they are almost always direct drive.

Doesn't look like there's anymore. But that light is nuts. Comparable to the mag85 and it doesn't get hot plus runs longer. Although... mag85 could probably be tweaked slightly to be brighter still. So i guess it's a tossup?

I really doubt the 7 LED Stunner XRE would make up enough ground to bridge the gap between a un-resistored 8 LED K2 Stunner and a Mag 85.
The difference I tested between the two was pretty significant.
I recognize that the Stunner XRE is brighter then the K2 Stunner
The Stunner XRE would definitely be closer to my Mag 85, but I have yet to put my new Titanium Power Max 1800's into it which are supposed to be like CBP 1650's and will increase it's brightness.
The un-resistored K2 Stunner was only two thirds as bright as my Mag85.
The un-resistored K2 Stunner did put out more light then a Surefire M6 with HOLA that I borrowed so certianly the Stunner XRE would be brighter then an M6.

The Stunners are incredibly bright LED flashlights.
They are blast to use and utterly blinding to look at.
I sure hope they are not the last of the super bright
Elektrolumens production runs.

The Stunner XR-E is over 1000 lumens, the Stunner K2 was propably around 900 lumens and the Stunner 3W was about 750...

I heard rumors that says Elektrolumens is building a one-of-a-kind custom light, KONG XR-E with 24 XR-E for a customer... 3500 lumens from LEDs...

but how much does the Elektrolumens Stunner (7xXRE-CREE) cost?

when I go to their website and click on pricing/buy now, I find a few products listed (something like 4-5 of them), but no info on this.

does anyone know?

TIA

You could try asking in the Elektrolumens sub-forum. The one time I asked about price (in a thread) and another time when I saw price mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised at how (relatively) affordable some of them were.

Yeah, their web site isn't very handy for finding out about their products, past, present or future, IMO.
