I used to have the Taskforce 3Watt 2C from Lowes but returned it a while back since I didn't really need it. I was wondering when will the Taskforce realease a brighter version of the current light we all speak of the 3Watter 2C at Lowes ?

I kind of like the build of the light but I do agree there are better places to buy rather than lowes.

Surefire G2 + KL5, Inova T3, Surefire 9P, Surefire G2 Incan, Inova 24/7

I'd be happy if they merely cleranced the lights they already have.

I love my Task Force 1-watt, 3AAA Luxeon (except it quits in the extreme cold) that I bought for less than $10. Right now that light is about $18. Really white-white light ... looks like an incan compared to my Nichia LEDs.

I'd like to see the 3C, 3-watt light and 1AA, 1-Watt light on clearance as well.

Kinda' wondering if Lowes will have their TaskForce 1watt Luxeon, 3xAA

black ABS plastic flashlight on sale for $2.50 again this Halloween.

For the price, many of us grabbed a BUNCH of 'em last year.

Heck, i even passed them out as Christmas gifts.

Surprisingly good performance, when you hit the Luxeon Lottery !

Here's the CPF thread from last Halloween:

A Cree star even found its way into one of mine - easiest mod I've ever done, by far! :D

But back on topic - The REAL question is: When will Advance Auto Parts sell a Cree version of their 2C Luxeon flashlight that is 10 dollars cheaper than the Cree version that TaskForce will eventually sell at Lowe's?
