I know a bunch of you went to the show.

However, I have not heard anynews of any new flashlights coming out.

Does anyone have any updates?

Thanks.

There's a whole ongoing thread for Surefire but I have no idea about the others. Quick recap: (A2L, AZ2, LX1, LX2, UB3, M3L, M3TL, V2L, Saint and Saint Minima). But to prevent this thread from merged with the ongoing Surefore SHOT 2009 thread I would recommend keeping discussion of the new Surefires over there.

that other thread was much too long, like all the other former shot threads, I was hoping there would be a thread that sums up all the new products in one post instead of having to go through several pages

Any news from PentagonLight?

EDIT: Never mind, I just read somewhere that their booth was empty...

What? Maglite with something new and not crappy? Made in USA too huh? I'll definetly take a look at that. Any idea of what kind of emitter it has?

I don't see knurling on these new lights. They all look like the E1B. Not good..

I can't believe they really did come out with an A2 LED..

Weird.

I was on SL's website and saw they now have the polystinger LED at 185L. The also have a multi stage scorpion LED and several new lights. Not sure if these were shown at SHOT.

Did Streamlight update their

ProPolymer 4AA Luxeon ?

I'd LOVE to see that with an updated emitter !

And a "turn-the-head" selector for 100%, 25%, and 5% brightness.

Are you listening, Streamlight ? ? ?

Looks like Leatherman has some new lights too - the Monarch series.

From the Press Release:

Four Models
The Monarch line will consist of four models to start, the 200, 300, 400 and 500. Size, in accordance with model number, will go from a two-inch keychain model up to a six-inch handheld model. Starting with the Monarch 200, output will range from a powerful 5 to 100 lumens.

Top-of-the-line Materials
The Monarch line will be constructed from 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum and have polycarbonate lenses and plated reflectors for a clean, evenly-distributed light pattern. They will feature 5mm, 0.5W and 3W LEDs with a single on/off function. Switch location will be on the tail for one-handed operation.

Excellent Value
The Monarch LED flashlights will begin shipping in late May and MSRP will range from a price-point-friendly $12.00 to $48.00. All four models will ship with batteries included and be covered under Leatherman's five-year Monarch warranty (batteries not under warranty).

LOL. There's a thread about the 2010 SF lights here, and I'm sure threads will appear for other brands.

The main 2010 Shot Show thread is here.

I'll close this one.
