Which AAs to use?

I have two kinds of rechargables right now ...
Energizer NiMH, 1.2v, 1850mAh.
Generic (Sunpak maybe?) NiMH, 1.25V, 2500 mAh.

Which should I use in a 2AA light for a good brightness/battery life ratio? Or should I buy another 4 pack?

I'm a poor teenager in a recession who also has to pay for his phone, texting, and soda, so I'd prefer not to go out and spend money on a state-of-the-art battery that dies after a year of use.

Thanks

You can use either of them. How they perform will depend much more on the age and maintenance history of the batteries than on what it says on the outside.

The really important thing when using NiMH cells in a 2AA light is not to over discharge them. As soon as you see any sign of the light dropping off in brightness you should stop and recharge them. If one of the cells is allowed to get empty and start being reverse charged by the other cell it will damage it.
