A friend of mine needs some flashlights but he came up with some detailed requirements probably copied from some flashlight. Knowing of my flashaholism he asked me to find something for him but I just cant find the matching or exceeding flashlight for a decent price, so I thought I'd ask my fellow flashaholics.
Here are the specifications:

100 (High) 43 (Med) 7 (Low) Lumens
Up to 100 Lumens
1 Hours (High), 4 Hours (Med), 36 Hours (Low) Battery Life
3 Watt LED
6061-T6 Hard Anodised Aluminium Body
Stainless Steel Bezel
Anti Reflective Coated glass Lens
Textured, Machined aluminium reflector
Recessed Tail Switch
White Light
Low/Med/High Adjustable Brightness
Must use commonly available batteries (AA)
-32F/+140F Temperature Resistant
Must be Water resistant
Must have Pocket Clip, Lanyard Ring
Must be Humidity Resistant
Must be Corrosion Resistant
Must be Shock Resistant
Must have Power management Circuitry for Steady Light Output
Must have a 10 Year Warranty
Beam Diameter: 1 ft (Spot) / 6 ft (Corona) at 5 ft.
3/2'' / 8.13 cm
Weight: 3 oz / 90 g (+/- 10%)
Must be CE Marked

Does anyone know of a contender for the above ?

A few models from Peak LED Solutions could meet or exceed those specs. The NP400A can be had in aluminum or stainless steel [don't know how 'corrosion resistant' you really need]. There are also models from the First Responder line and the Search & Rescue line that I believe would exceed those specs. They do not have three specific levels of 100, 43 and 7 lumens but have adjustable output from near zero to 400 lumens.

Fenix and Quark both make lights that'll fit the bill except for the stainless steel bezel.

Surefire you can Lego(buy different parts) to fit the bill. I've seen AA bodies for them. C2 has a clip built on, and I've seen all sorts of bezels. The aftermarket possibilities are mind-blowing.
The stock double AA is the Surefire E2LAA

The specs is copied from the specs of the Leatherman Serac S3 LED flashlight, just google the specs :nana:
In that case, i think the Serac S3 will fit his demands PERFECT..

I don't believe that there is a light made that would meet every one of these specs. My personal favorite 2AA flashlight, the Streamlight PT 2AA, comes really close so I'll list the specs for that one against yours.

100 (High) 43 (Med) 7 (Low) Lumens: 120 (high) 14 (low) no medium
Up to 100 Lumens: 120 lumens
1 Hours (High), 4 Hours (Med), 36 Hours (Low) Battery Life: 1hr 45min (high) 21hrs (low)
3 Watt LED: Cree XR-E (not sure what this is rated wattage wise)
6061-T6 Hard Anodised Aluminium Body: yes
Stainless Steel Bezel: no, but then, why would you want this on an AL bodied light?
Anti Reflective Coated glass Lens: yes
Textured, Machined aluminium reflector: no, smooth reflector
Recessed Tail Switch: yes
White Light: yes
Low/Med/High Adjustable Brightness: no, fixed brightness
Must use commonly available batteries (AA): yes
-32F/+140F Temperature Resistant: if using lithiums, yes
Must be Water resistant: yes, IPX-7 rated
Must have Pocket Clip, Lanyard Ring: clip yes, ring no
Must be Humidity Resistant: yes
Must be Corrosion Resistant: being AL, I would sure hope so!
Must be Shock Resistant: yes
Must have Power management Circuitry for Steady Light Output: yes
Must have a 10 Year Warranty: lifetime
Beam Diameter: 1 ft (Spot) / 6 ft (Corona) at 5 ft.
3/2'' / 8.13 cm: haven't measured, but it appears close to this
Weight: 3 oz / 90 g (+/- 10%): 3.4 oz / 96 g
Must be CE Marked: yes

Seems like the Fenix LD10 fits that pretty darn close. The Quark AA is very close too, but with the edition of a lower low mode. Both are brighter than 100 lumens on high, but still achieve just over an hour runtime.

Neither has a stainless bezel though. They are both a little bit longer than 8.13 cm (~10 cm).

Thanks, now it is making some sense. I guess they are using the Leatherman as a benchmark but they prefer to use cheaper batteries. So i suppose some specifications can be bent

i have s3 it is cr123, not AA,

btw the switch is pretty annoying, it always turns on in the next mode after it was turned off, if i used it on high and shut it off, it will turn on low mode next time, if you had it in low, it will turn on in med mode, no big deal, but gets annoying after you use it a lot.

also temp requirements (-32F/+140F) are not for commonly available batteries (AA), only lithium AA can work in that temp, but i'm not sure if he considers lithium AA commonly available batteries.

imo ,lx100 is a lot better than s3, however s3 is much samller, but not lighter, or at least not noticably lighter (assuming lx100 has lithium AAA), the ss head weights more than the rest of the light with battery.

I was thinking the same thing. Virtually all single AA lights released over the past year or so from the usual suspects meet or in many cases far exceed the light output specs listed (Leatherman S3 spec-a-like save the cell type). If not for the three stage requirement the Eagletac comes to mind due to the SS bezel. If it were me I'd trade off the SS bezel, handsome as it looks, for the additional output levels of either the LD10 or Quark AA.

Is the light seeker looking to do a bulk purchase of some sort and is looking for similar products to send RFQs to? This sort of spec-a-like situation is common where I hail from.

Maybe the Fenix E21 would fit some of your friends demands? :)

BTW,
Does anybody here know if the E21 is focusable?
The E20 was, but i cant find anything about focusing on the E21..

I did find something that seems to come close from DX - http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.31599 but not enough info to confirm certain details. i cant find anything on CPF about it either.
Does anyone have one of these ?
For the same price i would get a flashlight like the E21 i mentioned before..
The flashlight you links to is pretty expensive and i don't know anything about the quality.
Quark MinI AA? or AA2? :D

I would guess that Zebralight SC51 hand- or H51 headlamp will meet most of your requirements :)

You may review the specs at http://www.zebralight.com as well as threads on CPF:
