i've used the "both".


two points:

1) they're AA's and not AAA's (though Energizer does make e^2 Lithiums in AAA size).

2) aren't they the same battery with just different packing? maybe one a picture of 2006 packaging and the other picturing 2007 packaging. Anyone know if that's the case?

It looks like they're both the same. Except that a package is 8 pack instead of 2.

look closely at the wrapping around each individual cell. they're different.

are you saying that they use different wrapping on identical cells depending upon what quantity package the cells are to be packaged in? An Industrial Engineer wouldn't go for that idea - has an impact on various aspects of production; they'd like everything to be as similar and interchangeable as possible - and for good reason!!

NOT saying you're wrong, but i was just guessing that one Pic was of an older battery (let's just say 2006), and that the other was a newer Pic (let's say a 2007 package of batteries). don't know for sure. just making a guess here.

The thing is, the batteries from the batteryjunction.com link are a lot cheaper than the amazon.com link ones. If they're the same performance wise, then i might as well get the first one!
