Hi all I just replaced the red LED in my logitech optical mouse with a white one and it works just fine. I am replacing all the LED's in my computer with white and blue ones. The power light is blue and the HD light is now white. I may later change the mouse to a blue LED because it's case is kinda blue.

I've changed the red LED that came with a no-name optical mouse to a blue one. This is the LED that illuminates the thumbwheel, not the one that points downwards towards the optical pickup. Still works fine and looks much nicer.

The LED in my school mouse is a white one. Guess I did a crappy job installing it though, because after a few months of living in my backpack (IE Getting banged up all the time) the LED wouldn't turn on anymore, I needed to re-solder it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif
