I need a few feet of LED light-strips to upgrade the lighting in the shell of my pickup. I was going to kit up from Oznium.com but I want to be sure it's the best bang for the buck.

Best bang for the buck seems to be hobbycity/hobbyking.

I use them for lighting up my planes for night flying.

That's a very good price for a full meter! Man, I was preparing to shell out $30-40 for a yard! Now I can get white light on one switch and red lights on another! Thanks! :twothumbs

You wouldn't happen to also know of some waterproof light strips or weather-resistant flood pods for another incredibly low price would you? :D

Sorry man. The cheapest waterproof ones I know of are from:

If you decide to get the lights from Hobbycity/hobbyking, then I'd suggest you avoid the amber ones. ALL the other colors seem to be the same brightness at 11V but the amber one seemed to be about half the brightness. Maybe I just got a bad couple meters of amber, who knows.

You don't happen to be the gearbox on civic forums, are you? If you are, you've been very helpful to moi in the past.

Although I like to think I have been helpful on the 3 dozen forums I've participated in over the last decade, I'm afraid I can't honestly claim to be gearbox on that forum. :grin2:

Thanks for your help!

I am sneakycyber on HID planet. Good site there helping me with my LED upgrades in my car.

Edit: you can also find Flexible SMD strips on Ebay that are waterproof and have adhesive backs on them.
