Canada, eh?
My local sports shop I usually get Surefire CR123a's from is out of stock but they have some Browning batteries. Who makes them? Are they any good? I've searched on the topic and just see they had a recall years ago. I'm going to be ordering a box of 50 name-brand cells soon but I need a handful right now.

Thanks!

If it says Made In USA on the packaging, they are made by Panasonic OEM.

Browning had a problem with some Chinese sourced CR123A cells in the past and had to recall them.

I assume you are talking about Lebaron. If they have the Streamlight cells, they are a good alternative.

Thanks for the info. I called them (Lebarons) and they found "Made in USA" on the package. I'll get some to make due until I get some ordered in bulk.

Maybe us Ottawa guys should get together and order a truck-load of some good batteries.
