why doesn\'t....

Why doesn't Surefire make a long running lamp for the 3-cell lights(such as 9p, 6p+A19, C3)? I know there is a p90, but it'still runs for under an hour and the beam quality has been sub-par lately. Somelike 60-70 lumen would run for a long time with 3-cells or 2 pila 150s's. I'm asking because I like my E2e with the LOLA a lot and wish the same can be made for the P-series lamps...For those of us who like the qualities of incadescent bulbs, where LED's just don;t cut it quite yet.

The Kl5 or Kl3 led heads aren't that bad, expensive but they are pretty bright..

I have a KL3 head. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with 19 lumens of super highly diffused purple light. I paid Chop to mod it with a T bin LuxIII, Pelican PM6 reflector and 1.2A driver and it is great although it is quite a bit harder on batteries. You can get a head like this for a mere $150 or so.
