Why no Amilite T3 Cree upgrade ???

I cant wait to get an Amilite Neo T5. I've always loved my T3, it's a little bright gem. So I am sure I will probably end up getting a T5 (unless something better for the size comes around).

But couldnt Amilite have made a CREE or P4 screw on head replacement for the T3 for much less than the cost of a new T5. I mean they do use the same battery. I hope Amilite offers that product some day. You can beat the T3's size.

T3/T5 bezel, bodies and tailcap are interchangeable. They are like the SureFire E series.

So if I screw the T5 head onto the T3 body I get a smaller Cree light............ But what do I lose ???? Just the ability to have two levels of brightness ????????
It should be just as bright though or am I missing something here....

You will lose the clickie and the LOW level option. I believe a T3 can be ordered with the new T5 head...
