Wicked extreme questions

I had a question about my wicked extreme i recieved yestarday. I opened it up and compaired it to my 5mw think geek laser that i bought a while ago and it doesnt seem that bright to me. I dont have a meter to measure the output but i do have some pictures. I saw other peoples pictures but mine doesnt compair to theirs. It is capable of burning a hole through a best buy bag. When i hold it to the black text on it it burns through in a half a second. ill post some pics. It doesnt seem that bright to me i can see the beam but i thought it would be more visible.

Something tells me that the infrared filter has been removed or fell off, which could accouunt for a higher reading on a power meter even though there isn't as much visible light as you might expect. It would also account for the burning.

The burning-though-visibly-dim phenomenon is an excellent example of how unexpectedly dangerous these things can be if they're in the hands of someone who doesn't fully understand the risks. Please be careful with it...
