Wife\'s reaction to Palight Selector flashlight
I ordered a Palight "Selector," directly from the "real" Palight website .... www.palights.com ... for US$14.95.
The Selector (which used to be known as the OneStar), with its seven levels of brightness, now comes with a US flag on the case.
Like other palights, the Selector has an "always on" mode, which from one 9-volt battery, is said to last more than two years.
I'm not confident enough to give a "review" ... but here's an unsolicited testimonial.
I left the Selector on my nightstand, to "test" its "always on" function (to possible use as a night light in my RV). I was impressed with the illumination.
But the biggest surprise was my wife's reaction the next morning.
She said she got up during the middle of the night to do her business, and couldn't get back to sleep because "that damn flashlight was so bright!"
She thought the "always on" mode was too bright and demanded that I keep the light elsewhere. Or atleast not have it shine up on the ceiling! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I also ordered two Palight "Workmen" lights for US$13.95 each ... but as per the webpage, Palight substituted the more expensive "Survival" models (albeit the older Survival style).
