Or is 3V too low?

Right now I'm running an EverLED in a MAG 2C, sleeved to use 3x123. In an emergency, would two commonly available AA's power the EverLED?

Absolutely. I'm illuminating my keyboard as I write this with an EverLed running on 2xNiMh AA in a PT 20. They say it's brighter on 3 or more cells, but my old eyes notice little difference when I run it on 4xAA in my PT 40.

i've used an everled on 1.5volts, so 3v shouldn't be a problem /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

in fact, 3v should be a lot easier on the converter than 9v anyway /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
