Will a Digilght turbohead take SF bulbs?

I have one I bought for my 9p last year. I'm thinking a cell extender and an
MN61 to make a cheapo M4. It looks like it could take the heat and the bulb
that came with it looks like an SF bulb. Anybody?

I think a surefire bulb is about 7-8mm in diameter.....I hope that helps

Does the head fit on the Surefire?

Fits perfectly on the 9p, even though it was probably made for Digilght's
own 9 volt.

I don't see how. To use the 43mm head, you must use Digililght's 39mm reflector. How would you get a surefire bulb into that reflector? Surefire glues its bulbs and reflectors together.

Surefire's MN series of bulbs are seperate from the reflector.
