Will GDuP converter boards be for sale separate from the light engine package?

For those of us who want to use different LED's and upgrade our old LE's, will the GDuP converter board be for sale separate from the light engine package?

There will be a blackout period. After the blackout period the converter board will be available separately.

It will all depend on how well the initial sales go.

To the flashaholic population, anything concerning a blackout sounds like a good thing. In this case, I'm not so sure.

Wayne, will the GDuP converter boards be priced in the $20, 30, 40, or $50 each range?

It seems the initial sales of GDuP LEs was exceptional:thumbsup:

Sales so far have not even come close to recovery of the development costs. The blackout period will remain in effect until we cross over the NRE development costs.

I have a target price for the board. The final price is not cast in stone yet.

It looks promising based on sales of the last batch... We shall see what happens when production boards arrive.
