Will the LD01 Head fit on a Microstream Body?

I know the L0D head will fit on a Microstream body, so I'm wondering if the new LD01 will also fit on a Microstream?

I love the clicky of the MS, but unfortunately mine has a fairly yellow center spot which can be distracting, but it's also aggravating to my OCD tendencies!

got 2 and both are on micro streamlight bodys and both are running 10440 cells

Are we talking about the LD10 ? I couldn't find an LD01. Duh I found it ! does anyone know if the LD10 fits and works ? Forget my stupid questions I not quite with it tonight found my answer.

Sgt - there's quite a few threads about modding the Microstream with an L0d head, one of which is here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=179101

I just purchased an LD01 which had been reported to also fit the Microstream body, and adds multi-levels to the clicky body. These are my two requirements in an AAA configuration, and is hard to find unless you mod it yourself.

You will have to loosen the glue on the Microstream (MS) in order to remove the head, which I accomplished by boiling the body of the MS without the battery and tail for two minutes in a ziplock baggie, then had to hold the head of the MS over a candle before I could finally unscrew the head.
