I did a search with no results, so what are the chances we'll see a P90L from SureFire.
I know the P60L with work, but how about something optimized for 3 cells?

I'd be doing (once I recoup after getting a Novatac, some Vital Gear and Aleph bodies, along with some KL1 heads) a Malkoff drop in for my Z3.

Bad thing - the Malkoff drop in won't work with my rechargables - it maxes out at 9v. So it's gonna be a primary only light.

As noted that P60L is for both two-SF123A and three-SF123A models (such as the 6P/C2 and 9P/C3 etc)
This gives me the strong impression that SureFire are not planning to release a "P90L" dedicated to three-SF123A models.

I'd rather see Surefire come out with a P61L which I hope would be a higher lumen led replacement than the P60L. Hint hint surefire if your reading this.

All you need for the Z3 is 2 x 17500 rechargables. 8.4v in total straight off the charger. Then you can use the Malkoff drop in, the standard surefire P90 or any other lamp designed for 3 primary CR123 batteries.

The 3 cell lights are really good because you can swap between primaries (3 x cr123) and rechargables (2 x 17500) and not have to worry about changing lamps.
