Will there every be a "D" Li-Ion from AW?

Per title, pretty self-explanatory! It would allow us to discard 3AA->1D, 6AA->2D, 9AA->3D, etc, adapters in high-power lights... would be VERY nice and might jump run-times up a bit. Anybody heard anything?

Definitely do not hold me to this, but I THINK I remember seeing a statement that he is, or is thinking of talking to manufacturers about getting a prototype done.

How's that for a definite maybe? :shrug:
