Thinking about using a Jump Start Battery Pack as a power supply for an ICE Charger. This would be a temporary thing but eventually would get a "Regular Power Supply". Anyway, the specs on the Battery Pack are as follows:

Non-Spillable Sealed , Lead-Acid, Rechargable Maintenance -Free, 12-volt DC, 19 Amp-Hour. Any comments would surely be welcomed...

It should. That's what I'm planning to use to charge my USL when I get it. As soon as I find an old computer power supply, I'll switch over to that. People throw away old computers a lot, and they have still usable power supplies. My friend told me the yellow wire on the four wire plug that plugs into the backs of hard drives is the twelve volt one.

Sorry, I don't have a definitive answer for you, but I don't see why it shouldn't work. Hopefully, there won't be anybody coming along and saying anything different, because I don't want to spend any more money. (ok, I do, but not on a power supply)

Good news. Got off the phone with TowerHobby and they said that the Jump Start Battery Pack will work. The Gal who I talked with knew exactly what I was talking about. So, I would imagine with my Jump Start Pack rated at 19 amps should provide lengthy usage between charges?

Trashman, your USL comes with a Power Supply for the Charger.

Dukester, PM me, I have a few extra power supplies that should run your ICE just fine.

PS, what does the JumpStart Cost?

PM sent...

You can probably just plug the jump pack into its charger and run the battery charger also, that way it recharges as you are chargin batteries.

you should put a descriptive title on your thread so people can know what you are looking for before opening up the thread... good luck with the project.
