While shopping for a power supply for a cooling fan for my Wizard One, I found one on eBay which appears to be identical in both appearance and output to the one which came with the charger itself.

Since it's competitively priced, I thought I would choose it over the others I've found since it should also power the charger.

Am I missing something that would result in it under-performing or worse yet, harming the charger?

Thanks.

PS: Here's the fan setup by webfors which I am duplicating:

The C-9000 Power Supply outputs like 20 amps DC, wouldn't this be too much for a cooling fan. What I'm going to be doing is use a universal ac/dc power supply (about 500ma, with all the different ends coming out of one wire) connected to the 9 volt lead spliced into a 40mm or 50mm fan. I still need to measure to see which one will fit without hanging over the edge of the charger.

With this charger it seems to be fairly important(from what I've read) that you only cool the vents at the top of the charger and NOT the batteries, which will throw off the termination.

I just tried a 40 mm fan, and it sits very nicely in the upper right corner with no overlap into the battery compartment. I have also decided to get the adapter, it sounds like it should function quite nicely as a backup power supply for the charger. As mentioned in my first post, in certainly looks identical to the adapter that came with the charger, and the specifications are the same as well. I can't help but think they are both made by the same manufacturer.
