Wolf-Eyes and Pila

What's the relationship between the two. All their product lines seemed to be similar.
Pila - manufactured by Permalight (Asia) HK.
Wolf Eyes - Co-Photoel Tech Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, China. (Shenzhen is only about 30 kms away from HK).

This is what I think (I'm taking a somewhat educated guess) I think Wolf Eyes is the original manufacturer of the products and Pila is an OEM consumer of Wolf Eyes products. Either that or they are under license to manufacture the products. The first one to come out IIRC is WOlf Eyes as I bought one of the original chargers and 168 and 150 cells. Soon after, Pila came along and initiated distributors in the US as well as other countries. My Wolf Eyes stuff was shipped from Hong Kong BTW. I have taken apart both Wolf Eyes and Pila protection circuits and they are IDENTICAL. Wolf Eyes aren't available here in the US as far as I know while Pila is available from various sources, among them Jon (JSBurly's) who is a CPF member.

They are seperate marketing companies and use the same manufacturer. Wolf-Eyes has lisence to market in Asia while PILA has license for USA and europe. Fairly soon you'll be seing less and less marketing of the same products and more individualization of the lines.

Yes, they're the same and produced by the same manufacturer. Pila has more experience in channeling and servicing. They understand what after service is all about:-)

I've tried to help out a few members to deal with wolf-eyes locally but disappointed with their services.
