I'm considering getting the Wolf-Eyes Cree drop in for my Surefire 676 weapon light.
It uses the P60 and P61 assemblies so I'm thinking it should drop right in.
My question for the experts is, because this is 10+ year old technology, do you see any issues such as heat build up, or durability concerns
that might come up with this upgrade?

On a side note.
I own several other weapon lights that are much more advanced than the 676
but there's something about this system that appeals to me and I want to continue to use it.

All comments, gripes, and bitches welcome.

Contact mike at pts-flashlights.com, he'll know!

Trey, unfamiliar with the 676, but if it is 6V or less you may consider the real Wolf Eyes Cree fom Mike at PTS as it should be brighter. Wolf Eyes kept the voltage range as 3.7 - 6V on the real drop in, as they said it was brighter with a more optimised range. They will then produce a 9V drop in.

Hi Guys,

The link you have to Lighthound may not fit and it is Not a Wolf Eyes, but if you want that one you should email Lighthound to find out before buying, they're nice people and easy to deal with.

Here is a link to the Wolf Eyes Cree
Yes it should work and I don't think heat would be a problem.
