Won a Fenix P3D Olive Off Ebay

Candle Power Forums

Help Support Candle Power:

Hi all here, well I bidded on a brand new Fenix P3D Olive Colour on Ebay Australia, not expecting to win it, but luck struck and I won it for AU$60 which in Australia is a bargain, because I've priced these torches in the Army Surplus Store and they are selling these for over $130.00
These have just been on clearance for Aus$27.50 :) posted.

The OP has a habit of creating massive amounts of pointless threads because he is too lazy to spend 20 seconds typing his exact question directly into the search window. Sometimes he is even too lazy to look at his own old thread and creates a brand new one asking the same exact question all over again.

Wow this would have to be the funiest joke of the year !! So your saying what I have asked here (in exact words etc) has been asked by someone else.

On the 2nd note I dont have hrd to sit down and Google and read all off Googles results on the P3D because if I did I will be here 24 hrs doing so.

Well, the product specs directly answer 3 of your questions with absolutely no searching. And yes, your other questions have been exactly asked before, numerous times.

Ok where? Also your talking about US dollars, I am talking about Australian dollars.

4sevens were clearing them for what would be around 30 Australian dollars shipped. I just missed the olive ones but they kindly found me a black one. All gone now though.

Sorry that you paied so much for it and though that you had a good deal. If you looked in the good deals section, yes it does exist, you would have seen that 4sevens was selling his stock for 50% off, which would have saved you money.

Ok, so I'll see if this is true(I know you were being sarcastic, but just for fun). First question is a opinion question, but if you have read any threads about the P3D, you'll notice the positive feedback.

Ok, so second question, I typed in "P1D high vs P3D turbo". First link is this and it even has beamshots which saves you reading time.

The P1D high is close to the P3D high. Of course the P3D will have the much better runtime. Also the P1D CE has High,Turbo,Low modes while ...

ok, so that took me a total of 3 minutes to search, see the beamshots, and type to here.

Now next question. I typed in "P3D-CE battery" and here's the first link:

The above link shows that RCR123s work with the P3D if you read the thread. RCR123s are rechargeable CR123s, and CR123s are the batteries that the P3D uses. A RCR123 is a li-ion battery.

So that took me a total of 3-4 minutes to search and read.

Next question, which can be easliy answered if you simply looked at the P3D's specs, I search "P3D waterproof"

You can probably guess that the P3D is water resistant to IPX-8 standards because the thread asks what the IPX-8 standard on the packaging of his P3D means.

Ok, so searching, copying, pasting, and editing, took me a total of 5 minutes up to now.

Well, the last question is much harder to find. But it has been answered in the thread, presuming you read the whole thread.

So, finding the answer to 3 out of your 5 questions took me a total of 12 minutes, and that includes switching between tabs to paste the link, typing out a post, actually reading more then I had to to make sure that the info is there, and so on. If I only needed to get the info that you asked for, that would have only taken me 6 minutes. 6 minutes is not that much time.

But what I have just done to prove to you that searching is easy and doesn't take a long time is probably in vain.

:shakehead That will teach the OP not to get excited about a new purchase and to ask questions about it. The poor guy thought he got a good deal and wanted to tell you guys about it. And what do you lot do? - bag him out saying he has paid too much! He asked a few general questions about the light - big mistake!! He should have used the search function but hey, he was excited about the new purchase and probably forgot the unofficial rules on asking questions.

+1

Not only that, it was only last night that he got a moderator warning to use caution posting just this type of thread or... :sick2:

I bet the ebay seller couldn't believe his luck that the OP came along.

If only the OP had "searched" - think how much he'd have saved.

Talk about learning the hard way :)
