I have a ROP-hi with 2 LG 2400mAh 18650s unprotected and I'm thinking about going to AW's C size cells instead. I guess I'm just looking for some good reasons. I know I will gain the protection circuits and a little run-time but will I gain any output? The only downside, and the reason I haven't done it yet, is the cost. I will basically be putting $20 worth of batteries to the side, or trying to sell them, and spending $50 for new batteries plus another $26 for a nice 2C to 2D adapter. Any opinions on the C cells vs 18650s?
