Hi,
My P2D, which I use for EDC, is running on a R123a 3.7 V cell.
Yes, I have lost the low, medium and high mode for most of the time.
Only if the cell is at the end of the charge I can use these modes.
What bothers me is the fact that the 3.7V cell might hurt the LED and/or the circuit after some/longer time. The light turns relatively hot (good for winter days), but you can still touch it. Nothing compared to a Luxeon V.
Anyone any experience on this?
Thanks,
