Would the Streamlight 3N be worth modding?

Seems like the Streamlight 3n has the voltage and form-factor to make a great pocket light . . . would it be worth modding with a luxeon or would heat be too much of an issue?

Edit: This may not be a good idea Jason. I have been told the batteries are not suitable. Maybe a run time thing or the batteries may not have enough discharge ability.
