Just a regular cree light (1XAA and 2XAA) in a smoothed out satin grey finish. $40-45...
Ouch

The price, ouch indeed, but even worse, heard somewhere in another thread that somebody got one with a dark donut hole in the middle of the beam, meaning quality control isn't even that good either, especially considering the price. If you're gonna get one of these, CLOSELY LOOK AT THAT REFLECTOR!!! Look straight into it, and see if the yellow phosphor's reflection completely fills the reflector, when you look at it from at least 2 feet away, directly into it. If there is blank silver near the center of the reflector, don't buy it, it's got a donut hole for sure. Most likely, on the good units, the metal rim of the Cree will be just flush or slightly lower than the base / bottom of the reflector.

As has been pointed out, these are already featured elsewhere, so this thread can close.
