WTK: market value for Surefire 8X

I been offered a SF 8X (old style) model in good condition as part of a trade. I did a few search and came up with nothing but 8AX (newer model) and the 8NX.

How much do you guys think this light is worth, I am trading something valued at $250 for this. It is got the host/battery/bulb/charger/auto charger.:candle:

I want to mod this thing into LED, or maybe add a turbo head kit KT5 if it is possible.

I don't think that package would be worth more than $90 on the forum, but I haven't seen one for sale recently. Personally, I don't care for any light that runs on Nicads. Now it could be modded with an NiMH battery pack, and you could get longer runtimes with it. I think is uses a standard D26 lamp module, so probably any of the D26 LED drop-ins should work fine. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the input. I looked it up on the marketplace and it didn't look good.. $70 max I saw a few sold for $50.
