Re: WTS: SUREFIRE U2 Digital Ultra - older model that uses Luxeon III LED

Looking at your first picture I think it is a LuxV LED (not a Lux III).

Still have, use and love mine that I have had for ages and still one of my favorite user interfaces with the adjustable ring.

This one emits a crisp and cool white light, no hints of green tint whatsoever. Only giving up because I have my eyes set on a 2017 SureFire. Hopefully, I won't regret it. Owned this baby since 2008. Very low hours as seen almost no use.

A very nice light. My 2004 U2 has seen countless hours of use and I upgraded the led to a XHP50 awhile back. It runs on two CR123s or a 18650. It retains the 6 levels of operation with impressive output that is fitting for this light.

It's been replaced by my Oveready Titanium 70 BOSS for EDC but remains one of my favorite lights.
