I am interested in trading this one for a Ra Twisty or for a Malkoff MD2 w/a high/low ring or for a Surefire U2A or (2) Quark 2 x AA XP-G lights w/the cool tint.

I will also sell it for $100 shipped. I do not have the dowell rods to assist with the installation of the drop and you will need to furnishe the sandpaper to remove the anodize from the top of your light.

I'm very interested in this., but I've only been lurking around CPF for a short time and I'm not familiar with these drop-ins. I've got a 3D(w/ the terralux in it now) that it'd be going in, any idea of runtimes? And does this have a pretty decent throw?

1)What kind of runtimes could I expect in a 3D?
2)Are they more of a spot or flood pattern?
3)Any beamshot pics?

Eye candy always helps so post a picture of your drop in or at least a link to the sell thread. When there is such a long lapse between a feeler thread and actual sell thread there is always too much time for folks to change their minds or just get tired of waiting and go in another direction.

I am sorry but I don't know what the runtimes are for the drop in.

The beam is what I would consider to be "general purpose" not a tight thrower but also not a super flooder... the hotspot is similar in intensity and size to the Surefire LX2 but with much more flood... Kind of like a Surefire L4 or the older L2 on steroids.

I don't have any beamshots, but I will post pics of the drop in tomorrow in the Mag Lite host.
