I have a red phlatlight and it's an absolute monster. Puts out so much red it's unbelievable.
And I'm sure my lens is nothing like vinh's.

Z6vn 4.5A XPG2 Dedome throws a bit better than X10vn
Z6vn XPE2 Red throw as far as Z6vn PT-54 but with about 1/2 the focus size but twice the runtime

Vinh,
I would like to purchase the Z6vn Aspheric with the Phlatlight PT-54 4.5A Red LED. I would like mode 4 and have it engraved as well.
I am headed to PP now to complete payment and will shoot you an email as well.
Thanks Again for all your lights. They are truly incredible!

I understand that a NCR 18650B can be run at up to 5A. Can somebody therefore confirm that a protected battery eg 18650B can be used in the Z6vn XPG2 (apparently needs 4.5A) without decreasing light output?

It depends on whether the 18650B is protected or not.
Sometimes protection circuits will kick in at that amperage.
They will FOR SURE drop the voltage a small amount which means that YES it won't be quite as bright as an unprotected cell for the first few minutes at least.

Yes I was referring to protected 18650B cells. Thanks for your clarification.
