Glad you are not trading away your only Extreme III. Mine is awesome. Use it every nite. I have left mine in the default mode, which is suitable for my purposes. I took the place of my Arc DS AAA, and that is saying a lot. It is actually bright enough, on default high, to use as my only EDC, though I prefer to carry at least two lights.

I've got a lot on MJ designed and built lights but this one was just never my favorite and I actually sold it---one of the very few I have ever sold. Different strokes I guess....

Edit--my twisty abilities never were very good--my difficulty......
