X3T Availability

The Holy Grail of LEDs must really exist, I've heard people say so. Is Led technology reaching a point where such things as the X3T will become more readily available in the near future?

How do those few people that have recieved them manage to do it? Are they like special Beta testers for the LED Manufacturers?
