I don't know how common this is, but I bought two X5's a while back, and the momentary on was really hard to activate. The end cap had to be twisted to just the right position for it to even work. Here's what I did (this may or may not be useful to someone) just take the tail cap off and file the contact point on the end of the barrel of the flashlight, Here's a crude picture
