I'm using 15V 2A instead of 15V 1.5A to charge the X990 and the charging time is declease to 2hours instead of 4hours. Is this normal? Will it has any effect on the battery?

It might cut down the capacity of the battery a little, as charging at a higher current will produce more heat earlier which might trigger the thermal charge shutoff before the batteries absorbed as much power as they could. That would explain the drop in charge times by 2 hours (should be more like 3 hr now)

Is the battery pack warm/hot at the end of two hours?

a bit warm but working fine. I though that the circuit inside of the battery is the one that limit the current input not the AC adapter. Some one told me that as long as its 15V then its ok.

hmmm, if you get 70 minuites out of the battery and its not really hot, then I guess you don't need to worry. The charging in half the time is what is throwing me off.
