As you can see Im new to the cpf forums so please forgive my newbness. Ive done some searching in these forums and on the web but havent come up with an answer yet. I was hoping one you fine people might help me out. Through a stroke of good luck I got my hands on a Nighthunter 2. Its a complete unit with charger, case (pelican 1500) adapters, carry strap the whole nine yards. At some point I will probably sell it and have no idea what its worth. According to some sites it goes for 1700 bucks new. Has anyone bought one used here or sold one? Ive seen some mention from posts a year or two back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Man for that price I think a Polarion might be a better deal but I'm not that edu-macated on the delicacies of that range of lights. I hope its real rugged. From the pictures it sure looks like it would make a good blackjack.

Its incredibly rugged. Its a military item so it seems pretty over built. That price is the only "new" price I could find. Im sure thats a "full" retail pricing. I was playing around with it last night and the focused beam is incredible. Although Ive never owned a light like this it blew me away. The head rotates like a mag light to a focused beam with out any dark spot in the middle. Very sharp.

I owned one and watched ebay for a while. If you keep your eye out you can get one for 200-350$.

Did that include the pelican case, charger, dc/ac adaptors and battery?
