I have an old Microfire Warrior III that I have now dropped twice, resulting in both HID bulbs being destroyed. I know they have been out of production for a long time now, but rather than throw the whole flashlight/case/etc. away, I am reaching out to see if anybody has a lead on replacement...

Maybe you could find a compatible bulb somewhere. I'm thinking it must be a fairly common size. Someone here should know. I have a bunch of spare Fixefoxes bulbs. "just in case".

Guessing CPF member fivemega would know the answer.
Try sending him a Private message through CPF.

I seem to remember in the past someone replacing a bulb to change it to a 4300k automotive one but cant seem to find that now and i remember that it was difficult to do, was trying to find what the bulb looked like and came across this which was labeled as Microfire Warrior III but not 100% as i have never owned one.

I don't think there are any drop in replacements but looks like a 35w automotive style bulb in a custom housing. makes you wonder how hard it would be to replace the bulb.
Or make it so it took other more available bulbs like the common automotive lamps.

Here on the phone I am no good help, ;)
Just found a site - pro lite Japan - that seems to still offer some of the models + spare parts and bulbs....

The lower models seem to use the typical Welch-Allyn burners,
they show the 10 watt and 24 watt ones.
(which makes sense, as I know the 10 W bulb/ballast is not regulated and someone typed about that in a post above).

Try to identify Your burner model and search for it, with regard to the maker Welch-Allyn - if that is the one

Ps: if You would have put Pictures of the burner into the 1st post, Maybe someone - someone Who know the pieces - might have directly been able to tell "that is Model xyz of maker xx"
;)
