XML-U2 @ 2.6A vs. 3*XML-T6 @ .8A each?

Hi,
im totally new to flashlights and this forum. I've bought 26650 flashlight and equipped it with xml-U2 and 2.6A driver. There's only a slight difference in light output between mid and high mode but a massive increase in consumption (0.6A vs. 2.6A). Is it possible to use 3 T6's in parallel and power it with the 2.6A driver? 3 leds on 0.6A must provide a hell more light output than single on 2.6A, with the same consumption.

Yes, but brightness may be different, depending on how well the Vf of them matches.

No. Given that you are going from U2->T6, you will get something like 10% more light (1x U2 @ 2.6A vs. 3x T6 @ 866mA).
